Words With Friends Post

I read a article that was recent about the app Words With Friends and how Alec Baldwin got kicked off of a plane for not shutting it off. He refused shutting it off when the plane was taking off and they told him to shut it off so he yelled at them so he was removed from the plane. This is a game that you make words on your IPhone, IPod, or IPad. I is kinda like scrabble.
This relates to me because I have a IPod and I sometimes get addicted to new games. I also like scrabble so I think that I could like this game and I am going to get it. The reviews say that this game is very fun and it must be because it has over 12.5 million people each month that play it. When I hear about this game and all these people getting addicted to it I think of doodle jump or angry birds when they first came out. I think that Words With Friends is a good game to get addicted to over pointless games because in Words With Friends you are learning and it is educational because you are making words.

Thankful Post

     I am thankful that I have good health and that I can play sports. I am thankful that my dad has a good job so that I can get nice clothes and other things. I am thankful that I live in a good neighborhood in a nice house. I am happy that I can go on vacation with my family that also has good health. I am thankful to live in America so that I can believe in my faith and have many opportunities to do things. I also have food and water. I am thankful that I can go to school and that I will be able to afford college so that I can get a good job when I get older. I am thankful for my parents that can support my family and give us a home with nice things. I am thankful that my parents support me in my sports and school. I am thankful that I had the opportunity of being on a travel baseball team so that I can have fun and get better at baseball. I am thankful for my life and everything that I have.

Halloween Post

I like Halloween because of the treats and haunted houses. I have gone to the haunted forest in Ames a couple times and it is really good. It is about 30 minutes long and pretty scary. Yesterday I also have gone to the Breda old school where they have a haunted house and it was pretty good. The first year it was bad but this year it was a lot better. I want to go to the haunted hotel in Des Moines, it is a nine story haunted house and if you get to the top you get your money back. In this haunted house they can touch you and you can get hurt so they make you sign a waver before you go in.

The scarriest movie I have ever seen is the Exorcist. It is about a girl that is possessed from a ouija board. My favorite legend is the Villisca ax murders. Their was a crazy person that killed eight people in that house with a ax. You can spend the night their and people have reported their shoes flying across the room, doors slaming, and random lights going on and off.  Most of the people that stay their leave in the middle of the night. My brother took a tour of it and he said it was very scary. It is one of the most haunted places in America.

Whats next?

Over the years everything in technology has moved so fast. Things change drasticly in how we do things in just 10 years. People come out with new technologies and then apply it to everything. I think that in ten years everyone will have a phone with GPS and they will be able to put as much music and videos as they want. People will be able to have about a infinant amount of space on their IPods and phones.
      I also think that all cars will have hands free voice actavation technology . Cars will be able to drive nearly by themsilves. They will be able to drive in straight lines without you even touching the wheel or gas peddle. Cars will almost all have camras in the back for backing up and motion sensor to see when other cars are comming up on you. I also think that eventually computers will be able to understand what you are saying and you will net need to type . You will be able to just talk and your computer will type it for you.

My weekend

This weekend on Friday we had a football game. The Freshman lost but the Varsity had a very exciting game and they won. On Saturday I went to a friends house and spent the night there. On Sunday I went to Fort Dodge to play baseball. It is a fall league and we play 10 innings and it usually takes about 3 hours.

9/11 Post

In 2001 the world trade centers were hit it killed thousands of people. I do not remember much from the day that it happened because I was only four,  but I remember hearing all the teachers telling about it. They would tell each other to turn all the T.V.'s on. I did not really understand what was happening but the teachers were freaking out. I remember my parents also talking about it. My mom was talking on the phone all day to her friends about it. Last year in reading class we talked about 911 a lot. We made presentations and I watched the plane hit the towers for the first time.

Technology

I could not live without X-Box, and computers because they are the technology I spend the most time on.
I think it has changed society for the better because now people can multitask better.
Technology is a good thing because you can get more things done with it.
I do not want technology to ever replace my dog because a robot is not as loving as my dog.
Yes because people are counting on everything being fast so it makes people more inpatient.

I do not agree I think it allows people to get a lot more things done in a day then they could before new inventions.

My Summer

This summer I played a lot of baseball. I played the most I ever had because I was on the Freshman and the JV team. I also went on the DC and New York trip for school. It was very fun and my favorite thing was going to the beach. I liked going shopping and staying in the hotel rooms with my friends. I also went to my grandparents with a friend. My grandparents are very nice so we went to Adventureland, the I Max theater, and We went paint balling. At their house they also have a go-cart that we drove a lot. At the end of my summer I went on a youth trip with kids in my church to one of their lake houses. We rode jets skies, we went tubing, skiing, and I learned how to wake board. We went out on the boat a lot and had a great time. My summer was fun.
